We've quietly added a great number of new features to the Project readOn site and player over the last few months. Over the coming days I'll take a few moments to detail some of those new features in a few posts here on the community section of the site.

One of the features that has been commonly requested is some way to know when a video you requested has been captioned. We get a ton of requests (more on that later), and sometimes it is hard to know if something you have requested gets captioned and posted to the site.

There are a couple of ways to know, one is to watch this community section because we usually make a post for each video that gets posted to our site. By making these posts here, we make it easy to keep track of new videos and allow users to comment on videos that get posted. Plus, you can subscribe to the RSS feed for this page and you will be automatically notified of updates in your RSS reader. Just follow the directions at the top of this page, or simply add the URL: http://www.projectreadon.com/index.php?pg=community_all to your RSS Reader of choice.

Another way to keep track of new postings to the site is to watch the front page and the 'Most Recent' section of the site. The newest videos are posted there after they go up. You can see a complete list of our catalog if you click on the 'Media' tab as well.

Finally, and the most direct way if you are the one that requested the video, we have added a new email notification feature for requested videos. If you request a video through the Project readOn site, when it is posted to the site you will automatically get an email notification with a link to your video. Make sure entered and verified the proper email address on your account so that you can get these notifications!
